Amelia Island, Florida
A community of birding enthusiasts exploring the remarkable coastal habitats of Northeast Florida's barrier island.
About the Club
The Amelia Island Bird Club brings together birding enthusiasts of all experience levels to explore the exceptional habitats of Nassau County and the surrounding region. From the tidal marshes of the Intracoastal Waterway to the maritime forests of Fort Clinch, our barrier island offers extraordinary diversity.
We conduct regular field trips, host educational programs, and maintain a growing photographic record of the species found here. All are welcome — whether you're a seasoned lister or just discovering the joy of birds.
Join the ClubEvery sighting matters. Our club's iNaturalist project is the living record of Amelia Island's bird life — contributed by members, open to all. Add your observations and help build the most comprehensive checklist of birds on the island.
